Tim Buzinski ’97
Adjunct Instructor—Hospitality and Service Management

Tim Buzinski is co-founder/proprietor, with his wife Mei Ying So ’97, of Artisan Wine Shop in Beacon, NY. Established in 2006, the shop specializes in small-production, handcrafted wine and spirits from around the world. After graduating from the CIA with a culinary arts degree, Mr. Buzinski immediately pursued his love of wine, working with both large and small operations in all tiers: retail, importing, and distributing (where he was a wine educator). With 16 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, he is excited to inspire and pass on his knowledge to the next generation as an adjunct in the wines programs at the CIA. Ever passionate about continuing his own education, Mr. Buzinski is preparing for the Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier exam. Prior to attending the CIA, Tim cooked at two seafood restaurants in Washington, DC, and earned a BA from St. John’s University.
