In addition to teaching associate degree students and wine enthusiasts in the CIA classrooms, Noelle Guagliardo has served the college as beverage manager for more than 15 years. In that position, she is responsible for overseeing the beverage programs, inventory control, wine list development, food and wine pairings, and beverage staff training at the Hyde Park, NY campus. Ms. Guagliardo also selects and purchases the wine, beer, and spirits for its kitchens, classrooms, and three fine-dining restaurants. In addition, she contributed her expertise on ordering, receiving, and storing wines to the college’s Exploring Wines textbook. A Certified Hospitality Educator and a Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier, Ms. Guagliardo holds a BS from the State University of New York, Empire State College.
